Shortlist Announcement & Venue Update for Empowerment Workshop

Shortlist confirmation emails have been sent to all shortlisted teams’ members. Please check your registered email inbox (including the spam/junk folder) for your Team Number and event details.

Please note that the venue for Day 1 Empowerment Workshop on 7 November 2026 (Sat) has been changed to David Li Community Hall, St. James’ Church, Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, 112 Kennedy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Shortlisted teams are reminded to fill in the registration form and reply to the confirmation email by 18:00 on 30 October 2026 (Fri) to confirm attendance.

Expansion of Health-Related Disciplines Eligibility

To foster greater innovation and inclusivity, we have expanded our definition of health-related disciplines!

In addition to Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health, students from the following disciplines are now eligible to fulfill the health-discipline requirement:

• Primary Clinical & Dental Professions: Dentistry, Pharmacy, Chinese Medicine, Veterinary Medicine
• Allied Health & Clinical Rehabilitation Sciences: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology, Radiography / Radiation Therapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Optometry, Podiatry, Orthoptics, Audiology, Clinical Psychology
• Biomedical Sciences, Engineering & Life Sciences: Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
• Health Promotion, Sports & Applied Health Sciences: Sports Science and Health, Nutrition and Dietetics, Gerontology
• Healthcare Administration, Informatics & Data Analytics: Healthcare / Health Services Management, Health Informatics, Bioinformatics

Reminder: Each team must consist of 4–5 current students, including at least 2 members from health-related disciplines, complemented by students from design, technology, or social sciences etc.

Registration Deadline Extension

To allow more time for team formation and preparation, the registration deadline has been extended to 21 October 2026 (Wed).
